Consumer Finance Attorney Ron Gorsline will be presenting a workshop at the FiSCA conference:

"Compliance and marketing for Financial Service Centers that offer payday advances involve myriad federal laws that cannot be ignored. This workshop will focus on the key federal laws that are currently on regulators’ radar, including the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act/Red Flags Rule, the Truth-In-Lending Act/Regulation Z, and the Equal Credit Opportunity Act/Regulation B.  It will also address the recent steps the FTC and FCC have taken to restrict the ways you can communicate. Learn what the the new rules and proposed rule are for collection calls, robocalls, text messaging and autodialers and what you can and cannot communicate to consumers."
