Accreditation Organizations for Advanced Diagnostic Imaging Providers

The Medicare Improvements for Patients and Providers Act of 2008 (MIPPA) requires that suppliers furnishing the technical components of advanced diagnostic imaging services to Medicare beneficiaries must be accredited by an approved accreditation organization by January 1, 2012.
