The Lease-Purchase Contract: A Golden Opportunity or Financial Trap?

If you ask a group of owner operators what they think about lease-purchase arrangements, you will get plenty of differing opinions. You will hear some success stories and one or two owner operators will tell you how much more they make than when they were "company drivers." Others will tell you financial horror stories, vehemently denounce the ethics of any company that offers lease-purchase deals, and strongly question the sanity of any driver who signs one.
