Tennessee Inheritance and Gift Taxes Repealed

May 30, 2012 -Tennessee's inheritance tax is now officially on the path to extinction.  Governor Haslam recently signed legislation that phases out the tax over the next four years.  The governor also signed a law repealing the Tennessee gift tax retroactive to January 1.
