Dana Perry Elected Fellow of Tennessee Bar Foundation
Jan. 20, 2010
Dana B. Perry has recently been elected a Fellow of the Tennessee Bar Foundation, an association of 678 attorneys across the state. Invitations to membership, which is a position of honor, were extended to 35 attorneys this year by the Board of Trustees. The introduction of new Fellows took place January 15, 2010, at the annual Fellows' Dinner in Nashville.
The Bar Foundation's purpose is two-fold: to honor attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the profession and to administer a grant-making program that supports law-related public interest projects. Local recipients of funds from the Foundation include Community Reconciliation, Inc., Southeast Tennessee Legal Services and Legal Aid of East Tennessee.
Ms. Perry is the managing partner and a shareholder in the firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. She received her law degree from Vanderbilt University in 1988. Ms. Perry is certified as an Elder Law Specialist by the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Georgia. She is a frequent speaker on estate planning and elder law topics.
