Chambliss Attorneys Speak to Veterans About Small Business Start-Ups

Chambliss law firm attorneys Rick Hitchcock and Jim Catanzaro spoke to veterans July 25th about the potentially tricky legal issues entrepreneurs are likely to encounter when starting a small business. The presentation was part of a veterans’ entrepreneurship "boot camp" hosted by the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga College of Business.
Hitchcock and Catanzaro lead the Chambliss law firm’s Start-Up Group which, in addition to providing legal services for entrepreneurs, hosts a variety of events to support Chattanooga’s start-up community. One such event is the Start-up Social, a networking opportunity where entrepreneurs can come and exchange business cards as well as ideas. The Start-Up Group uses only local Chattanooga spaces and companies for these events.
The Chambliss Start-Up group has its own Facebook page and soon-to-launch Web site, www.chamblissstartup.com.
