Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel Attorney Frederick L. Hitchcock Named Chair of Environmental Impact Assessment Committee

Rick Hitchcock, a shareholder at Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C., has been named 2010-2011 Chair of Environmental Impact Assessment Committee of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Section on Environment, Energy, and Resources.
The committee focuses on federal and state laws that require the evaluation of environmental impacts of planned private and governmental activities.
The ABA’s Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources is the premier forum for lawyers working in areas related to environmental law, energy law, and natural resources law. The Section is committed to providing members with opportunities to enhance professional skills, stay on top of current developments, and engage in dialogue in these substantive areas.
Rick Hitchcock advises and represents clients in environmental matters, business planning, technology issues, transactions, and trial and appellate litigation. He also counsels businesses and utilities concerning environmental regulatory compliance.
