Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel Selected for Groundbreaking Partnership with TMA

The Tennessee Medical Association has selected the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel to provide its members certain legal services, including employment contract review and negotiation, and insurance provider agreement review and negotiation services. The groundbreaking program will be effective immediately.
Chambliss attorneys are excited about the partnership with the TMA. “Our firm has extensive experience representing physicians on a wide variety of issues, and we are honored to be chosen by the TMA for this program,” said Mark Cunningham, who leads the Chambliss firm’s healthcare law group. “We recognize that innovative, cost-effective solutions to legal issues are more important than ever for Tennessee physicians.”
Dr. Matthew Mancini, Chairman of the TMA Board of Trustees, said the new program exemplifies TMA’s efforts to promote excellence in healthcare across the state.

Founded in 1830, the TMA has a membership of 7,800 individuals. The professional organization for doctors is dedicated to protecting the health interests of patients and improving the effectiveness of physicians throughout the state.
