The law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. is proud to announce the expansion of its Labor & Employment Practice in Chattanooga.  Donna L. Pierce recently rejoined the firm.  Ms. Pierce has extensive experience in employment relations and works with clients in a variety of private and public services and industries.

Ms. Pierce was formerly a shareholder at the firm of Chambliss & Bahner and later served eight years as General Counsel and one year as the Director of Community Services at the University of the South.  She received her undergraduate and law degrees from the University of South Carolina (B.G.S., with honors, 1978; J.D., 1980).  Ms. Pierce is licensed to practice in Tennessee and South Carolina.  In addition, she is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eleventh Circuits, and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee.

Ms. Pierce is a member of the Board of Directors for the Tennessee Justice Center, Inc. and Tuition Plan, Inc.  She is also a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys and the Chattanooga, Tennessee, South Carolina and American Bar Associations.
