Greenholtz, Hannah & Sims Named Shareholders

Thomas Greenholtz, William R. Hannah and H. Blake Sims have become shareholders in the law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C.
Greenholtz practices in the areas of business and commercial litigation, criminal law, and arbitration. He serves as a Commissioner on the Tennessee Commission on Continuing Legal Education and Specialization and is an adjunct instructor of political science at UTC. He is also an arbitrator with the American Arbitration Association. Greenholtz earned his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Tennessee in 1999. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to Chief Justice William M. Barker of the Tennessee Supreme Court. He and his wife, Kathryn, live in Ooltewah with their two children.
Hannah handles commercial and business disputes and litigation involving product liability, employment, insurance, personal injury, and transportation issues. He received his law degree from the University of Tennessee and has practiced law in Chattanooga since 1994. He is a graduate of the Tennessee Bar Association’s Leadership Law program, serves as the chair of the Tennessee Bar Association’s statewide Standing Committee on the Protection of the Public from the Unauthorized Practice of Law, and also serves as a hearing panel member for the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility. He and his wife, Lisa, live in Hixson with their three children.
Sims focuses his practice primarily in the area of consumer financial services. Sims is a regular speaker before national audiences on regulatory compliance in consumer credit, electronic payment systems, and other related topics. He also has a general corporate and business practice, including advising nonprofit organizations. He earned both his J.D. and M.B.A. from the University of Tennessee in 1998. Sims clerked for the Honorable Houston M. Goddard with the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Blake and his wife, Heather, live in Cleveland with their two children.
