The law firm of Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. is pleased to announce that Kurt J. Faires has recently joined the firm. His practice will focus on business and corporate law, business organizations and planning, family business transactions, and mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Faires earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1986, and he received his B.A. in economics from DePauw University in 1981 and his M.B.A. from Vanderbilt University in 1983. Mr. Faires is licensed to practice in Tennessee and Illinois.

Mr. Faires serves on the boards of United Way of Greater Chattanooga, Allied Arts, Memorial Health Care System Foundation and Bright School. He lives on Signal Mountain with his wife, Jennifer, and his sons, Ross and Kurt J.
