William P. Aiken named Lawyer of the Year by Best Lawyers

Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C. is pleased to announce that William P. Aiken has been named by Best Lawyers in America as “Corporate Lawyer of the Year” for 2009 in the Chattanooga area. Only one corporate lawyer is being recognized, after receiving particularly high ratings for legal abilities, professionalism and integrity.
Mr. Aiken focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities, commercial transactions and health care law. He is an active member of the American and Tennessee Bar Associations, serving on committees involving acquisitions and business law. Mr. Aiken has also been involved in numerous community and educational organizations, serving on the boards of the Boys & Girls Club, Chattanooga-Hamilton County Bicentennial Public Library, Baylor School, University of North Carolina and Vanderbilt Law School. He is a Fellow of the American, Chattanooga and Tennessee Bar Foundations.
