Katherine M. Block, B.S.N., R.N.
Legal Nurse Consultant
Kathy Block works in the firm's litigation section, primarily in product liability and defense of long-term care facilities and physicians. She assists with the early identification of exposure issues, defense themes and expert retention/preparation. She prepares attorneys for deposition and conducts medical research.
Ms. Block has a broad-based knowledge of medical/surgical nursing with extensive experience in intensive care, home health and general medical/surgical nursing. She is a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, and is the recipient of the 2004 QSource Quality Award.
A native Chattanoogan, Ms. Block earned both her B.S.N. (1978) and her B.F.A. (2000) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.
