T. Ryan Malone

Associate

Ryan Malone is an associate in the firm’s litigation group, concentrating his practice on product liability, long term care defense, medical malpractice, and general litigation.  While his practice involves all aspects of litigation defense, Mr. Malone specializes in punitive damages, jurisprudence, ADR Agreement enforceability, and the Quality Assurance privilege.

Mr. Malone regularly gives talks to professional groups.  Most recently, he presented a seminar regarding application of Tennessee Health Care Decisions Act in long-term care setting at a TNAHSA District Meeting, and spoke on the defense of decubitus ulcer cases at T.H.C.A. Annual Convention.  He also successfully represented the Tennessee Health Care Association as Amicus Curiae in a seminal nursing home arbitration matter recently decided by the Tennessee Supreme Court, Owens v. National Health Corp., et al, 2007 Tenn. LEXIS 1003 (Tenn. Sup. Ct. Nov. 8, 2007).
