Recent Representative Matters
- Obtained a jury verdict in federal court in Toledo, Ohio, of over one million dollars (including attorney's fees) for a Belgian aircraft company relating to its purchase of a jet aircraft with undisclosed problems
- Successfully defended a manufacturing client in warranty claim by customer, and obtained judgment on a counter-claim against customer for failure to pay for equipment
- Successfully defended bankruptcy adversary proceeding for alleged preferential payments and fraudulent conveyance
- Enforced landlord's right to compel tenant's contribution to common area maintenance, including substantial charges for paving driveways and parking areas
- Represented client at successful mediation of breach of alleged oral contract to sell assets and business
- Pursued collection of unpaid accounts receivable, foreclosing upon and liquidating real and personal property security interests
- Negotiated a favorable settlement for an equipment manufacturer in a dispute with its distributor
- Successfully defended breach of contract claim against purchaser who rejected manufacturing equipment due to defects
- Successfully defended securities lawsuit with fraud and racketeering allegations.
